O-lab: From Colombia to Nigeria
Origin Learning Fund became an international reality during the pandemic. The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation believed in the scalability of our methodology and customizable technology, O-lab-app, in Africa, Nigeria. Thanks to our 3 on the ground partners Wadi Ben-Hirki Foundation, TechHer, Oakbridge Foundation in the past two months we have achieved the main objectives of:
- Provide 1800 vulnerable youth with access to quality digital education
- Distributed 20 tablets across a network of 12 schools in Abuja, Enugu, and Kaduna
- Trained 20 teachers & social leaders
- Digitized on our platform O-lab 5 curriculum in Leadership Development, Environmental Responsibility, Digital Literacy, Science, Peace Building
